Uninvited Guest

I love the variety of shapes and colors of peppers...and their shiny texture. Chuckling as I write this because I realized I don't cook with them all that much...just paint them.  Here's today's musical inspiration. I  adore Grace Jones...best played loudly...but isn't most music? Are these the little sweet peppers? I don't eat the hot ones, but the little mild ones are wonderful roasted. I put them in a baking dish, coat with olive oil, a little salt, and bake at 350 for about 1/2 hour. They are great as a side dish with almost everything. I love them with lentils.

These are so shiny they make me want to grab them! But those poor dears wouldn't last long here. Sliced and diced and in a pot!

Nice peppers, Brenda. Love the music, too.
The colors really pop against that background!

Brenda, your work is so exciting and vibrant. Everything looks so fresh...like it was just picked. And, I love the many arrangements you devise. Thank you!
