Ore-Gone

I painted this with my friend Carol on one of my last days visiting her in Oregon...thus the title.  If you'd like to paint it or a similar bee please feel free to join in the fun at Daily Paintworks. It was last week's challenge and there are some terrific entries!

I am deeply in love with this painting! It captures the ethereal, delicate vibe of the reference shot without being a copy of it! That touch of cool blue on the little fuzzy buzzer is perfection!
